This was our first preliminary task in which we were asked to exchange dialogue whilst not breaking the 180 degree rule; this allows continuity.
The 180 degree rule is a basic guideline regarding the on-screen spatial relationship between a character and another character or object within a scene. This camera technique allows the audience to visually connect with unseen movement around and behind the centered subject. This technique is very important in battle scenes.
The first video shown above is our attempt of the 180 degree rule executed in the correct way.

However this is an example of a bad continuity, where jumping takes place with no continuity of the camera angles or placement, which the defeats the purpose of the 180 degree rule; along with the dialogue not making much sense. Which, overall, is not a good enough standard of a scene.
